Mount Whiteface and Mount Passaconaway are located in the Sandwich Range Wilderness. The lookout ledges just below the wooded summit of Mount Whiteface offer great views south towards the Lakes Region. Mount Passaconaway has views to the west and north from a lookout point below the wooded summit.

Mount Jackson has excellent views of the surrounding Presidentials and many other peaks from its ledgy summit. We did a nice loop hike over Mount Jackson and spent the night in the backcountry by staying at Nauman Tentsite. Check out our experience on this trip!
Mount Jackson is a part of the southern Presidential Range and has excellent views of the surrounding Presidentials from its ledgy summit. In the winter, Mount Jackson makes for a short hike and a steady climb to the summit which is just above treeline where you can enjoy panoramic views.
